New in the psimistri team:
Beatrice Beck: has been responsible for test development since June 2021. She has been working for the Department of Differential Psychology and Psychological Diagnostics at the University of Vienna since 2016 (as a study assistant, e-tutor, e-multiplier).Daria Grigoryeva: has been part of our team since July 2021 and is mainly involved in test development and translation of individual test procedures. She completed her Master’s degree in “Psychology” with a focus on “Mind and Brain” at the University of Vienna in 2018 and is currently working as a research assistant at the Medical University of Vienna. In October 2021 Daria started her clinical psychology training.
Awards:
Anja Hochrathner won the 2021 Wilhelm Strubreither Prize at the Society for Neuropsychology(www.gnpoe.at) with her master’s thesis on INCP(Anja Hochrathner: The International Neurocognitive Test Profile (INCP): A tablet-based neurocognitive assessment battery – Assessing potential education effects within a pilot study). Congratulations to her!
Science:
We are pleased that our olfactory questionnaire “Assessment of Subjective Olfactory Functions (ASOF)” was used in a study by Duke University (USA) to assess olfactory abilities in patients who underwent endonasal endoscopic skull base surgery (EESBS) of hard-to-reach lesions of the skull base due to sellar lesions(Milap D. Raikundalia: Olfactory-Specific Quality of Life Outcomes after Endoscopic Endonasal Surgery of the Sella. Allergy & Rhinology Volume 12: 1-7 (2021) DOI: 10.1177/21526567211045041).
