New test procedure:

The new CITY Identification Test (CITY) is now available for use.

The CITY is a multiple-choice test for assessing semantic memory. The current adaptation of the CITY consists of a total of 16 items. There are two versions: a paper-and-pencil test and a digital test. In the paper-and-pencil version, participants are given a test sheet (A4) on which 16 city names are shown in 16 lines. Each line contains a city name and four country names as possible answers. The total test duration is approx. 2 – 10 minutes, depending on the individual’s processing speed. 1 point is awarded for each correct answer and 0 points for each incorrect answer. The total score of the test therefore varies between 0 and 16. The CITY has very good psychometric quality criteria and has been used in numerous studies. Test versions are available in German and English.

10 pcs. CITY manual and 10, 100 or 1,000 CITY test protocols will be made available free of charge to all newsletter subscribers.
